The Research Institute of Fragrance Materials (RIFM) will kick off its annual meeting with a new leader as James C. Romine, Ph.D has recently been elected as its new president. Romine, who was VP-product stewardship and regulatory affairs at DuPont, succeeds David K. Wilcox, Ph.D., who retired from RIFM on May 1. Romine was the first to lead DuPont’s functional competency for managing product stewardship and regulatory compliance in all markets and geographies. RIFM’s 49th annual meeting, “Innovation in the Fragrance Industry,” is scheduled for Nov. 5 in River Vale, NJ.
